Text printed letterpress on 160gsm Magnani Pescia mould made paper by Phil Abel and Robert Hetherington of Hand and Eye Letterpress. Printed in black with yellow spots throughout on a Heidelberg cylinder press, using photopolymer plates.

This edition is newly and lavishly illustrated by world renowned artist, Gary Gianni. There are 10 full-page colour paintings, plus 14 full-page black ink line drawings. Many of these images are spread across two pages and there are also multiple half-page and spot black and whites around or embedded in the text. All colour images for this edition are giclee printed by Hurtwood Press and sewn into the structure of the binding. All black and white images are letterpress printed to the page.

The Lettered edition is bound as a bradel binding, with a terracotta Russell’s Oasis goatskin leather spine and teal Harmatan goatskin covered boards. Each board is foil blocked in gold and cut out to reveal hand marbled paper pyramids on the board beneath.

Endpapers and board cutouts are hand marbled paper by Freya Scott of Paperwilds.

All page edges are hand gilded in gold.

The book comes in a bradel bound solander box. The spine is terracotta Oasis goatskin leather, with a letterpress printed label and the front and back boards have frames covered in terracotta cloth. Beneath the frames are letterpress printed images by Gary Gianni. Inside the box there is also a foil blocked, full cloth portfolio with pocket, containing a selection of signed and numbered prints.
